Roles & responsibilities
As part of the new creative team at BSA, you will be at the cutting edge of ICE and EV motorcycle design and development, we are seeking a Lead CMF/CTG Designer.
As a Lead CMF/CTG Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the concept, and development of Colour, Material and Finish / Colour, Trim and Graphics for vehicles, accessories, products, and apparel that stay true to the brand’s vision
- All CMF/CTG output including design presentations, concept development, appearance models and prototypes, design verification, and supplier liaison
- Development of innovative colour design strategies
- Explore, research, analyse, and deliver reports on Design and future CMF trends
- Manage and maintain a CMF sample library
- Building a network with external suppliers and agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Transport Design, Industrial Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, or related field
- A strong portfolio of work
Experience
- Great understanding of the automotive CMF/CTG design process with experience working through the production delivery phase
- Good understanding of European design trends
- Excellent visual, communication, and presentation skills
- Design research experience
- Ability to Lead CMF development on multiple design projects concurrently
- Manufacturing knowledge of plastics, metals, coatings, soft goods, and apparel
- Demonstratable skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
- 3D CAD skills preferred, but not essential
- Experience and / or knowledge of motorcycles preferred, but not essential
